Elderly Cos Cob woman targeted by man-and-woman pair of thieves

An elderly woman was targeted by a smooth-talking pair of thieves who distracted her and then made off with thousands of dollars of jewelry and cash. The 94-year-old Cos Cob woman was approached by a man and woman last Friday around 4 p.m. The couple was white, in their 30's, according to Greenwich police.
