Art scholar to lecture at Bruce Museum on Connecticut artists

A leading scholar on 19th century American art will talk about the art colonies that once lined the Connecticut shoreline and the emotionally evocative paintings they created. In connection with a current exhibit at the Bruce Museum , " Charles Harold Davis : Mystic Impressionist," Amy Kurtz Lansing will give a presentation Monday about his work and other painters who clustered in Cos Cob, Mystic and Old Lyme.
