A Cos Cob man was arrested Wednesday night after telling his girlfriend to stab him during heated argument in front of their infant child, police said.
The woman told police that Abdeljali Nebbari, 41, of 10 Glendale Street, pushed her face while she was holding their child. She also said he then grabbed a knife and told her to stab him. When she tried to call 911, the woman told police Nebbari ripped the telephone out of the wall.
He was arrested on charges of risk of injury to a minor, disorderly conduct and interfering with a 911 call. He was being held on a $2,500 bond and was due in court Thursday.
