Metro-North has completed the replacement of railroad signal equipment in Cos Cob damaged by a fire in May ahead of an eight-month schedule set for the project, the railroad announced Monday. Since the fire, train movement on the New Haven Line through the area had required the presence of a signal worker at all times to coordinate the movement of trains through the area and prevent delays during morning and evening rush hour.
