Investigator: Person killed by train was retrieving wallet on tracks

A person was struck and killed by a train Friday morning near the Cos Cob train station in Greenwich. Meredith Daniels, Metro-North spokewoman, said the accident happened around 9:30 a.m. The person, whose identity has not been released, was struck by the 8:29 a.m. train out of Grand Central Terminal.
